Acceptance of terms
By using salesforcetrails.com (the "Site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What the Site provides
SalesforceTrails provides technical articles, troubleshooting scenarios, interview question banks and a practice hub where you can write Apex code and have it executed and graded. Everything is provided for education only. Nothing on the Site is professional advice, and interview material does not represent any employer's actual interview process.
Accounts
You may sign in with a Google account to save progress across devices. You are responsible for keeping that account secure. We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms. You can delete your account at any time as described in the Privacy policy.
The practice hub
Code you submit runs on a Salesforce Developer Edition org that we own, inside a grading harness, under rate limits. When using the practice hub you agree not to:
- attempt to read, modify or export data or metadata from the execution org beyond what the problem requires;
- make HTTP callouts, send email, publish platform events, schedule jobs or otherwise cause effects outside the run;
- deliberately exhaust governor limits, run long-running code, or automate submissions to degrade the service for others;
- attempt to bypass, spoof or reverse-engineer the grading harness or recover hidden test cases;
- submit code that is unlawful, that you do not have the right to use, or that contains credentials, personal data or production data.
You keep ownership of code you submit. You grant us a licence to execute it, log the result and use it in anonymised, aggregated form to improve the problems. We may rate-limit, block or ban any user or IP address that breaches these rules, without notice.
Intellectual property
Articles, question banks, problem statements, test cases and graphics on the Site are owned by SalesforceTrails and protected by copyright. You may read and share them for personal, non-commercial use with attribution and a link back. You may not reproduce them, republish them, scrape them or use them to train models or build a competing service without written permission. Short code examples in articles may be used in your own projects without attribution.
SalesforceTrails is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Salesforce, Inc. "Salesforce", "Apex", "Lightning", "Agentforce" and related marks are trademarks of Salesforce, Inc.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the Site.
- Do not scrape or harvest content using automated means.
Third-party links and advertising
The Site links to third-party sites and displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it. An advertisement does not imply our endorsement.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We work to keep technical content accurate to the current Salesforce release, but Salesforce changes and we make mistakes; verify anything you rely on against official documentation and test code in a sandbox before deploying it. The practice hub may be unavailable at times and results may be delayed.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SalesforceTrails is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue or profit, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or its content.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Changes take effect when posted here; continued use of the Site after that means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing in them removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
